 Results of the weekly events at Pt au Roche, NY
The 1995 season
(with five course records established)

Posted below are results of 14 weeks of racing from the 1995 season of the Pt au Roche time trials, running from May through September. We do not know if the missing week (July 12) was rained out, or if we simply lack the results.
These result show 60 different riders recording 250 times, mostly on the 10-mile course, with a few on the 5-mile and 25-mile courses.

Brendan Breen was the top rider with five wins and two second place finishes in his seven rides. Brendan established the first of five course records set during the 1995 season. In the first event of the season, he rode the ten mile course in 22 minutes and 6 seconds, eclipsing the record of 22:10 held by Spencer Yates of Lake Placid.

Five weeks later Kevin Duniho, on the first of his three rides (all first place finishes), was the first rider under 22 minutes, finishing in 21:47. Four weeks and two attempts later, Duniho lowered the course record to 21:31.
Mary Duprey, who was never topped in the women's competition, also set two course records. She lowered her own record to 24:48 and two weeks later, improved it again to 24:34.

The busiest Wednesday saw 26 riders participating.

Mary Duprey and Dave Bilow rode 14 weeks, Bob Davies rode 13 times, followed by Russ Bordeau with 12 rides, Allan Daigneault and Ralph Senecal with 11, and Charlie Mitchell with 10 rides.
