Posted below are results of 13 weeks of racing from the 1998 season of the Pt au Roche time trials, running from May through September. We do not know if the five missing weeks (July 1, 8 & 22, Sept. 2 & 9) were rained out, or if we simply lack the results. These result show 45 different riders recording 169 finishes, primarily on the 10-mile course, but with a single ride of the 25-mile courses and one ride on the 5-mile course. Jon Parks was the top rider, edging out Brendan Breen. Each rode six times and Parks posted four wins and two second places, while Breen turned in three wins and two seconds and a third. In their four head to head races, Parks won three times, Breen just once.

Then who, you ask, placed ahead of Parks in his other second place effort? That was Canadian Stan Ambis who showed up twice, on successive Wednesdays, won both times and posted the season-best time of 22 minutes and 3 seconds. Mary Duprey was never topped in the women's competition, and she turned in the top time three different weeks. (Yes, beating the boys!). The busiest Wednesday saw 21 riders participating. Ralph Senecal rode 12 of the 13 weeks, while Dave Bilow rode 11 times, followed by Mary Duprey with 10 rides.
