We haven't seen much of Mary Duprey at this year's time trials. The reason -- she's been preparing for Ironman Triathlons. In mid-June she placed second in her age group in the Mont-Tremblant 70.3 (Half Ironman) and qualified for the World Championships to be contested on the same course on Aug. 17. In between those two events she won her age group in the Lake Placid Ironman on July 27. See results. Her time of 11:26:02 placed her 633rd overall and twelve minutes ahead of the second place finisher in her age group. We suspect that we won't see her at the TT until after the Aug. 17 event. Good luck, Mary, at the championship race. |
